The prophetic vision and commission is to go into the darkness, even the underground of NYC, to proclaim the Light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to all those who travel there.
“Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech.” – Proverbs 1:20-21
The call is to evangelize, plant seeds, bless and draw others towards the Kingdom of God, to spur revival in our city and nation, to inspire others, and to encourage faith in those who are already called by Jesus’ Name.
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?” As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” – Romans 10:14-15
I believe the Lord God wants to raise up a nation of evangelists, who will bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the nations of the world.
